Privacy Policy

Plachieve (the "App") is designed to help Users manage schedules, goals, notifications, home screen widgets, and the Pro plan.

Data entered by Users—such as schedules, goals, and profile settings—is stored solely on the User's device. There is no mechanism to transmit this data to the developer's servers.

However, for the purpose of displaying advertisements and processing payments, Google AdMob and Apple App Store / StoreKit may process information necessary to provide their respective services.

1. Information Stored on the Device

The App stores the following information on the User's device:

Category: Schedules
Contents: Task blocks, fixed events, and completion records
Category: Goals
Contents: Goal titles, checkpoints, progress, and achievement notes
Category: Profile Settings
Contents: Estimated sleep, meal, and break times, and lifestyle type
Category: Templates
Contents: Daily templates and block templates
Category: UI Settings
Contents: Themes, color settings, and display settings
Category: Purchase Status
Contents: Active or inactive status of the Pro plan

All of this information is stored on the User's device and is not transmitted to the developer or any external server.

2. Information Processed by Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

2.1 Google AdMob (Ad Delivery)

The App's Free plan may display advertisements served by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may collect and process advertising IDs, device information, and usage data for purposes such as ad delivery, measurement of ad effectiveness, fraud prevention, and ad optimization.

Users on the Pro plan will not see advertisements within the App.

2.2 Apple App Store / StoreKit (Payment Processing)

Pro plan purchases are processed through Apple App Store and StoreKit.

Purchases, billing, refunds, and management of subscriptions or one-time purchases are handled by Apple's systems. The developer does not collect credit card numbers, bank account information, or any other payment information from Users.

The App manages the Pro plan active/inactive status on-device based on Apple's billing processing results.

The App may query Apple's billing service at launch to verify the Pro plan status. This communication occurs solely through Apple's systems.

3. Purposes of Use

The App uses stored information for the following purposes:

  • Providing schedule management features
  • Providing goal management features
  • Displaying completion records, progress, and checkpoint management
  • Displaying schedules on home screen widgets
  • Sending reminder notifications for fixed events
  • Providing template features
  • Customizing UI display
  • Managing Pro plan permissions
  • Displaying advertisements in the Free plan

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

The App does not transmit or disclose schedules, goals, profile settings, templates, UI settings, or other data entered by Users to the developer or any third party.

The App is designed as a local-only, server-free application with no mechanism to transmit User-entered in-app data externally.

The following exceptions apply:

  • Information processed by Google AdMob for ad delivery
  • Payment processing by Apple App Store / StoreKit
  • When a User creates a backup file and saves or shares it externally
  • When disclosure is required by applicable law

5. Backup

The App allows Users to manually create backup files.

Backup files may contain in-app data such as schedules, goals, templates, and settings.

Users are solely responsible for managing the storage location, sharing, and handling of backup files.

The App may offer password-based encryption for backup files using AES-256-GCM.

Backup files do not include the Pro plan purchase status. Pro plan restoration is handled based on Apple App Store / StoreKit purchase records.

6. Notifications

The App may send local notifications, such as reminders before the start of fixed events.

Notifications are processed on the User's device and are not transmitted to the developer or any external server.

Notification settings can be changed or disabled at any time through iOS Settings or within the App.

7. Home Screen Widgets

The App may display schedule information on home screen widgets.

Data required for widget display is shared between the App and the widget via the App Group area on the device.

This data is used only on the device and is not transmitted to the developer or any external server.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

The App stores User-entered schedules, goals, and similar information solely on the User's device and does not transmit it to the developer.

However, the Free plan may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. For information on how advertising data is handled, please refer to Google's policies.

The applicable age rating for the App follows the age classification set in App Store Connect.

9. User Controls

Users may perform the following actions:

  • Edit in-app data
  • Delete in-app data
  • Enable or disable notifications
  • Create backup files
  • Delete backup files
  • Restore Pro plan purchase status
  • Change ad tracking permission settings in iOS Settings
  • Delete all on-device app data by uninstalling the App

When the App is deleted, data stored on the device by the App may also be deleted. However, backup files saved separately by the User will remain until deleted from their storage location.

10. Security

The App is designed to store User schedule and goal data on-device and not transmit it to external servers.

When creating backup files, Users may optionally enable password-based encryption.

However, if a User shares a backup file with a third party, or if the device or storage service is inadequately managed, the data may be accessible to third parties. Please manage backup files and devices with care.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated as necessary.

In the event of significant changes, notice will be provided within the App or on this page.

Updated versions of this Privacy Policy take effect when posted within the App or on this page.
